Project Overview

Clarity Bytes partnered with Kar-Life Battery to execute a complete digital transformation for a family-owned battery retailer with over 60 years in business. What started as IT consulting evolved into an ongoing engagement spanning custom software, e-commerce, physical security, network infrastructure, and digital marketing — touching every layer of their technology stack.

The centerpiece of this engagement is a fully custom e-commerce platform built on Next.js 16 and React 19, featuring a real-time product catalog with live pricing and per-location inventory, a multi-step checkout flow with Stripe embedded payments, DoorDash same-day delivery integration, and a VIN-decode-powered battery quote system. The platform serves as both a customer-facing storefront and an operational tool for the business.

We deployed a comprehensive marketing website with 17+ pages including geo-targeted service area pages for 9 Phoenix metro cities, a rich content hub with in-depth battery education articles, and advanced SEO with structured data (LocalBusiness, Product, FAQ, Article, and Breadcrumb JSON-LD schemas). The site features scroll-driven animations, glassmorphism design elements, and a polished gold-and-black brand identity.

On the infrastructure side, Clarity Bytes executed a full on-site network deployment across both Kar-Life locations, including enterprise-grade WiFi, multi-WAN failover, 4K AI-powered video surveillance with facial recognition, license plate detection, vehicle/person/package classification, and audio event detection — all running on-device with zero monthly licensing fees.

The custom POS system we built integrates directly with the e-commerce platform and DoorDash, enabling seamless in-store and online sales with real-time inventory sync. Google Ads campaigns, Google My Business optimization, HubSpot CRM integration, and Google Workspace deployment rounded out a truly full-stack digital transformation.

VIN-Decode Quote System

A multi-step battery quote flow that decodes a customer's VIN via the NHTSA API to identify their vehicle, accepts photo uploads (vehicle, battery, VIN plate), uses Google Places autocomplete for address entry, and routes the quote to the nearest store.

Geo-Targeted Local SEO

9+ city-specific service area pages targeting Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Peoria, and Surprise — each with unique headlines, neighborhood lists, local keywords, delivery estimates, and city-specific FAQs.

Advanced Structured Data

Comprehensive JSON-LD schema markup including LocalBusiness (2 locations), Product, Article, FAQ, Service, Breadcrumb, Organization, and WebSite schemas — driving rich search results and knowledge panel visibility.

4K AI Security & Network Infrastructure
